day tourMoving experience
My sister, brother-in-law and myself were most impressed by our tour of The Somme Battlefields. Lea, our guide had such great knowledge and showed so much respect for those soldiers who had lost their lives. It was a very moving experience for us.
2 / 3 day packagehighlight of our holiday
"Your knowledge of the history and events was amazing. I am especially grateful for researching the final days of the life of my great uncle and his final resting place in the Tyne Cot Cemetery, making the occasion of my visit to his grave a moving and memorable one."
" Thank you for an absolutely amazing tour. Lea was very informative and helpful, and Dominic a great driver. I will definitely recommend this tour to friends. Thank you again."Brilliant guides
"Our 2 day tour with Annette and Christian was wonderful. They were brilliant guides with amazing knowledge and were very considerate of my mother who is a not so good with stairs and walking a long way. Mum was only disappointed we didn't choose the 4 day tour."
" My husband, son and myself thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour. Thanks to Sylvestre we were able to locate my great uncle's grave at Authille Military Cemetery which was an absolute highlight of our 7 week holiday. We would unreservedly recommend your company to anyone."Recommending the tour
"I would just like to thank you for the 4 day Battlefields tour we did with Christian & Annette. I saw more on the first day then I though I would see in the 4 days, Christian & Annette do a very good tour. I will be recommending the tour to anyone."
"This is a belated thank you for the tour. Your knowledge of the events on the Western Front was only equalled by the human-scale insights you brought to your commentary. We unreservedly recommend this tour to anyone and especially Aussies"Will never forget
"My clients have just returned from their European Holiday. Suffering from Parkinsons and needing some special attention, they came back absolutely delighted with their experience and couldn't speak highly enough of the way they were treated. The Battlefield tour was one they will never forget.
" Thank you for arranging tour we had a great time learning a lot of history. Would you please thank are guide as she was most professional and full of knowledge giving us an insight into the first world war around Amiens. "Beyond Expectations
"Annette and Christian moved Heaven and Earth to ensure we achieved all we could and we are over the moon as not only did we have a great time but filled in a few Blanks in our Family History including determining a possible last resting place of a great uncle."
We learnt so much
" Our tour guide Lea was a delight. Her knowledge was only surpassed by her professionism and friendly nature. We learnt so much about the Australians involvement on the Western Front. In our 3 weeks holidays, the Battlefield Tour is easily the highlight for all three of us."Knowledgable and welcoming
"I cannot recommend the tour highly enough. Annette and Christian were both extremely knowledgable, welcoming and gracious. They go out of their way to make the tour as personalised as possible and I was able to "visit" the graves of my relations.
For very Australians
Our guide Lea is passionate and passing on her knowledge with great honour and dignity. During the tour I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the horrors faced by the AIF, their achievements. Léa conveyed her knowledge professionally, with emotion in perfect balance."Our trip was fantastic.
"My husband and I had a wonderful battlefields tour with Annette and Christian, it was very moving, emotional and outstanding with Annette's knowledge. The magic of Ieper and surrrounding was just fantastic. The "last Post"in Ieper was a very emotional service."
