Day 1 : Libourne and Saint Emilion.
With Bordeaux behind you, today you will discover medieval towns famed for fortifications, wines, monuments and history. Libourne is a fortified town founded in the early 13th Century. Discover remains of the city, then drive through the vineyards to arrive in Saint Emilion. This medieval city is world famous for prestigious wines and, its troglodytic church, the largest in Europe, excavated by monks from 8th to 12th Centuries.

Day 2 : Vineyards of St Emilion and Monbazillac.
Explore stunning villages steeped in history and vineyards of the St. Emilian area - a UNESCO World Heritage site. Driving along The Dordogne discover the vineyards of Montbazillac.

Day 3 : Tour of Bergerac and tour from Bergerac to Tremolat.
Starting in the ancient town of Bergerac surrounded by vineyards, there is much to see before you pass through its famous vineyards and picturesque villages. Known for churches, pilgrimages, traditional specialised paper manufacturing and history before the awe-inspiring views of the Cingle of Tremolat surround you.

Day 4 : Along the Dordogne from Tremolat to Sarlat.
Today will take you fro, Tremolat to Sarlat; via riverside villages. Cli,b up to the charming village of St. Cyprien and visit the Hanging Gardens of Marqueyssac. More villages await you en-route to historic and beautiful Sarlat.

Day 5 : Tour of Sarlat.
Explore the historic sites; buildings and streetscape of Sarlat. Take time to roam in the afternoon and evening.

Day 6 : Along the Dordogne from Castelnaud to Souillac.
So many vistas, historic sites and castles to take in as you make your way to Castelnaud en-route to the magnificent town of Domme, atop a hillside before descending to Montfort and its castle, and church of Carsac-Aillac. More castles are perched in Fenelen and Rouffilac. Pass through typical Perigourdin villages before reaching Souillac for the evening.

Day 7 : Along the Dordogne from Souillac to Bretenoux, Brive la Gaillarde.
Drive to the mystical village of Rocamadour, the Caves of Lacave, before driving through three of the listed most beautiful villages of France - Carennac, Loubressac and Autoire. Pass through the ancient fortified tozn of Bretenoux before reaching your final destination of Brive la Gaillarde. The tour ends in Brive late afternoon.

Tour commences at Bordeaux in the morning and concludes on 8th day in late afternoon in Brive la Gaillarde.

Day 6 : Sarlat and the Black Périgord - The morning is devoted to visiting Sarlat - You will fall under the spell of this ancient town whilst walking through the maze of narrow streets with the medieval nooks which shelter many special Gothic mansions and magnificently restored Renaissance buildings.

Day 7 : The valley of Vézére. This valley is classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO and is remarkable for its beautiful landscapes and interesting sites. It is testimony left by men who lived here during the last 100 000 years. On this 80km drive you will see: Caves of Lascaux, The Castle of Losse, medieval fortress and Sergeac .

Day 8 : The Dordogne from Castelnaud to Souillac. Vézac and the edges of the Dordogne, the Castle of Castelnaud, afortified castle of the 12th century.
